Stacking the Shelves (3) & Teaser Tuesdays(3)

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is safe and sound with all this crazy weather that has been happening around the states (if not the world?).  Here in GA we have had severe thunderstorms, tornado watches, and really really humid hot weather.  As always, my heart and prayers are with those who were effected by the terrible tornadoes.  

I decided to combine two memes today and I hope I don't get into too much trouble doing it.  Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga@ Tynga's Reviews to showcase what we all have received book wise in the past week.  (Or past month for some of us)  If you would like to join in on the fun then please jump on over to Tynga's Reviews so you can get all the info there.

Gameboard of the GODS by Richelle Mead

I just found out today I was approved to read this from Net Galley!!!  I think I screamed so loud I woke the four year old from his nap.  Sorry.  Thank you so much NetGalley and Penguin for this.

Broken by Robert J. Crane: I have been following this author for a long time.  He is one of my all time favorite sci-fi and fantasy writer.  I can't wait to get my review up for this one.  

Loki's Wolves by K.L. Armstrong, M.A. Marr:  Huge thanks to Hachette Audio for sending this audiobook for me and the boys to review.  It is definitely an interesting twist to the Nordic myths.

The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen

This was on sale and I picked up the ebook version of it.  I am really loving it right now too.  

The Song of Achilles  by Madeline Miller

This was also one of those ebook steals.  I think it was like 99 cents or something like that.  I can't wait to get into it.  I love books!!!

Deep Blue Secret by Christie Anderson

This is another one that I just loved the cover  and had to grab it.  Plus it was free too so had to.

Moonlit by Jadie Jones

I had to grab this one because the author is a GA girl.  Being that I am also a GA girl, I try to support fellow GA girls as much as I can.  It was also free on Kindle too.  But I am still supporting them right?  

Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver

So I grabbed this at a really great deal on Kindle and it said it was the Enhanced Edition too.  But then I figured out this is book 2 (no I haven't started this series yet) so I now have to get book 1 before I can begin this one.

Stacking the Shelves (2) & Happy Mother's Day to all!!

Hey guys, this is my second Stacking the Shelves meme.  I am really loving this idea and its good to change things up a little bit anyways.  This is hosted at Tynga's Reviews so please be sure to go there for all the news and there is also a linky where you can add your post.  Thank you Tynga for such a great meme! You rock!

  I hope all of my wonderful followers that are mothers had a great day!  You deserve it!  I know for a fact raising kids is not an easy job! There are times you lose sleep, money, and time but all of that is made up when you see their smiles, hear their laughs, and feel the love from them and from yourself.  Here is a little recap of my day:
 My four year made me a foam picture frame for a pic of me and him as well as picking out his very own real flower for me.  And he specifically told me, "Do Not Let This Flower Die, Mama!"

{I kinda don't have a good history with plants, especially the pretty flowers that make me sneeze.  I water them but they still tend to wither on me anyways.  I think I am cursed when it comes to having a green thumb.  Everyone else in my family is great...just not me.}

My twins and eight year picked up the cutest bracelet that has frogs on it.  I love it so much and I thought that was just the sweetest thing for them to remember Mom loves frogs.

Okay and now what my hubby got me for Mother's Day actually pertains to this meme now.  
He had to work all day but when he got home he had this huge book in his hand and the minute I seen it I think I did a little squeal of joy!

I am reading this right now; pretty much the minute he put it in my hands.  

This is a great series and I encourage all my 18 + readers to definitely pick them up if you love sexy vamps, and beautiful strong women and lots and lots of romance.  

For Review:

I was so stoked when the publisher via Net Galley approved me for this book.  I have really high hopes for this and I love the idea of Japanese mythology.  I am on a serious mythology binge right now! 

I was super happy to get this one from Scholastic via Net Galley too.  My sons are huge R.L. Stine fans and I am getting them into the review for this one!

 

These two are middle grade that I received from the author for a blog tour I am participating in.  These are awesome stories and again are full of mythology.  Yay for me!
